Potential priorities for actions
Near-term, Vulnerability, and Resilience
An initial prioritization was made for near-term preservation actions at 13 study area streams.
Prioritization can be guided by judgements of stream vulnerability.
And stream resilience, which can be based on selected watershed characteristics.
The amount of warm-weather flow--necessary for habitat but which declines in the summer--was found to correlate directly with drainage area and maximum elevations.
