  Highlights

  • An initial prioritization was made for near-term preservation actions at 13 study area streams.

  • Prioritization can be guided by judgements of stream vulnerability.

  • And stream resilience, which can be based on selected watershed characteristics.

  • The amount of warm-weather flow--necessary for habitat but which declines in the summer--was found to correlate directly with drainage area and maximum elevations.
