Streams with larger flows than others during drought conditions have greater trout habitat volumes amid the dewatering that diminishes all the streams.

In 2020, the monsoon rains that normally occur in the study area in July and August were minimal, virtually absent.

Photographs of drought flows in October 2020 enable a visual comparison among streams of remaining habitat volumes during those conditions. The water bottle provides scale.
